Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. I have been getting ready for school to start & this blog has been the last thing on my mind. I often times don't think I have anything to blog about, so I am going to just try to make a point to blog as often as I can about anything that has been going on recently.
Speaking of recently ... a funny thing happened tonight when my friend & I went to the movies. I went to purchase my ticket & handed over my debit card. When I got my card back & took my ticket I looked at the ticket so I could tear it off of the receipt. That is when I noticed that I had two tickets. They had accidentally charged me for not only an adult ticket but also a senior citizen ticket!!! It wasn't that big of a deal, but the funny thing was that my friend with me, who is only about 2 years younger than me, had gotten carded (the movie was rated "R") even though she is 25. Often times people have asked us if we were sisters because we look alike & seem about the same age. I guess tonight they didn't notice that! We laughed about this and teased each other for a long time about our new ages. I know a lot of times people can't wait till they can grow up, but I don't want to grow up THAT fast!! It's also a shame that they didn't refund the money for the adult ticket & just let me have the discounted rate instead!

You did get your money back didn't you? At least for the senior ticket. Was this at a Regal theater, and did you get credit for both on that??
Thanks for blogging, even though you don't think you have anything to blog about. Just tell what happens in your day. Okay? Nana
They did have me fill out a card & gave me a receipt that says the money was refunded. I hasn't shown up when I have checked the account online, but hopefully it will soon.
I don't know if I still get credit for the extra ticket or not. I usually get lots of credits at Regal because they give you credit for buying from the concession stand as well.
