You wanna know something that is really stupid??? Grouping students based on the results of only ONE test instead of including how they work in the classroom. What is even worse, determining if they go on to the next grade or graduate from high school based pretty much on just the FCAT!
We are told over & over again to use alternate assessments & not just tests to give our students grades, then we turn around & the "powers that be" determine everything else based on tests the students take. Ridiculous!!!
