Thankful!

As much as I complain about the students in my class I really need to be thankful for them. They care about me more than I realize.

We have a new mail system on our campus that allows the students to write letters to other students, teachers or staff members at our school. Because of this system I have received several letters from students. One of the letters was written by a wonderful student. She works so hard in class & always has a smile on her face. She told me that off all the teachers she has had since she has been in school I am her favorite! Talk about a boost of my ego!

Several other female students have recently been telling that I need to go on the show the Bachelor. At first I was embarrassed, but then I realized that it is only because they care about me & want me to be happy. They feel I need someone special to make me happy.

These events have definitely helped me to realize how much I can learn from my students & how thankful I am that they are in my life.
