About 2 weeks ago I joined Gold's Gym. The Curves where I was a member closed, so I needed to find another place to work out. When you join Gold's they offer 3 free training sessions and I went to the first one this morning. I think I need to sleep for the rest of the week to recover!!!
The truth is I actually enjoyed the workout. Of course I may have to eat those words tomorrow when I can't get out of bed because of how sore I am! I know it isn't New Year's & most people don't make resolutions at this time of the year, in fact most people are slipping on their resolutions, but I have decided to rework the resolution I created at the beginning of the year regarding working out.
Go to Curves or walk on the treadmill every day.
Obviously I can't go to Curves, but I am going to try to go to Gold's 4 to 5 times a week. I signed up for a training session once a month. This way I have someone watching over me and making sure I stay on track. I want to continue with the treadmill as well. The most important thing I need to work on is to eat healthier. Increase the fruits & vegetables I eat. Make sure my meals are balanced with lots of different types of food. Less sweets & junk food.
Hopefully by this time next year all of these resolutions will have made a big difference in my life, physically & mentally.
