Has it really been almost a month since I last wrote??? I don't know how the time got away from me. I guess just too much has been going on. Here are some of the highlights you may have missed...
The weather radio went crazy one day. Storms were all over the area. It kept going off announcing them & saying there were tornado warnings.
Ran in my first 5K. Time was 42:43. Not too bad for my first time. Next 5K is in May. Just home I can run the whole thing & not walk at all.
Yes, these taste as amazing as they look! Mom & Dad invited me over for dinner one night. These are Bacon & Broccoli Crepes.
Love the Florida skies. Saw this one day when I was walking home from work!
My Thirty-One gifts came in! Love the new purses & bags!
Saw this sign when I was out walking (taking the trash to the dumpster!) Notice the added part at the bottom..."Responds to Fatty". Poor thing, I would run away too if everyone called me "Fatty"!!
Surf, sun & relaxation. My friend found a new beach that isn't very crowded, so it was nice to go & relax. Lunch afterwards was delicious at Crabby Joe's.
My new plant. A Fort Myers Hibiscus. Took me a while to pick this one out, but the flowers were the prettiest of all the varieties.
Homemade Guacamole for Bunco. I don't even like to have store bought anymore. I think this was the best tasting batch I have ever made!
Went to a store called Pondtastic with my parents. Out front of the store is a beautiful pond with these signs up. Notice that New Jersey is a mere 935 miles away. Road trip anyone??? Of course if you want Paradise you are already in the right place!
